First Blog
Well, I guess it’s about time I give in and write my first BLOG. This is very new to me, but I can see the possibilities are limitless. I have been visiting web sites like ”edutopia” in hopes of educating myself with ways to involve our learning community with technology. I came accross an interesting site.

What a great article. I’m hoping the other 21clc team members are reading this! Two point jump out at me:
1) Step 3: Overcome fear. I mentioned this same point in a post I wrote about my interview with the Edutopia journalist.
2) Step 5: Learn with your students. I’ve been thinking about this lately. We have several seniors from my AP English Lang class from last year that are adept at using Google Reader and blogs (and a number of other digital tools). What do you think about asking five of them to partner with one of the five members of the 21clc team? They could serve as a mentor, perhaps visiting weekly with their partner teacher during the school day. The students would feel empowered and us adults could learn alongside them.
Way to go. You’re making me smile!:)
